Abstract
EN: The course aims to offer students an overview of the possibilities of effective IT use in foreign language teaching. Attention will be paid to tasks and activities using IT aimed at the development of languages skills.
Learning outcomes
EN: Students are acquainted with the possibilities of using IT in foreign languages teaching.

  1. Introduction and use of AI in foreign language teaching;
  2. Use of AI in teaching practice (focused on language teaching);
  3. Types of IT tools suitable for foreign language teaching, Internet resources, and working with authentic teaching materials;
  4. E-learning and working with Moodle; O365 mobile applications;
  5. Interactive whiteboards;
  6. Student portfolio presentations. Final discussion. Evaluation.

In the spring semester of 2026, classes will be held on the following Fridays: February 20, March 6, March 20, April 17, and May 15.

If the course is included in one-field combined study plan of the programme Upper Secondary School Teacher Training in French or Spanish Language and Literature, presential teaching is reduced and substituted with self-study and regular tutorials.
