- The purpose of the course is to give an overview of linguistic methods and subjects in pragmatics and enunciation (énonciation).
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, a student should be able to :
- identify and summarize the topics studied ;
- give a class presentation on a chosen topic ;

- Method of verifying learning outcomes and course completion requirements
- Presentation on a given theme during the last week of the semester + argumentative essay to be written during the examination period. The essay is very different depending on the students' field of study. Students in Master French Language and literature are expected to focus on theoretical points, whereas French didactics students are essentially required to write a well-argued pedagogical lesson plan on a subject covered in class.
