The course is dedicated to enhancing knowledge of derivational morphology, evaluative morphology, semantics and pragmatics.

Approaches, practices, and methods used in teaching
The course includes: A) Consultations, tutorials and self-study work, as follows: 1) study of the reference textbook, chap. 3. Morphology (review from Italian Linguistics III), 5. Semantics. 2) selection of one of the recommended readings and morphological and semantic analysis of the lexemes. B) In-presence seminars on semantics and pragmatics (6 to 8). C) Online seminars by guest scholars (4 to 6 during the semester).
