- Course objectives
- Students continuously report on the status of their own professional work, get to know the topics of other students and actively participate in discussions on individual topics. Lectures by scientists of the parasitology working group and/or external scientists also take place as part of the seminar. The aim of these lectures is to contribute to the professional education of students, to provide them with the opportunity to discuss and to motivate them to engage in professional discussion.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the seminar, students will be able to prepare a presentation and at an appropriate professional level present and discuss the topic of their own research in the field of parasitology, understand research and interpret the research of other students and professionals, and ask questions about scientific research. Completion of the course will allow students to expand their professional knowledge in the field of parasitology.
- Syllabus
- presentation of topics and the process of bachelor's, master's and doctoral theses, practice of presentations and defenses of final theses, presentations of realized conferences, workshops and foreign trips (especially those realized by students), presentations of professional research by DBZ employees and external experts.

- No specialised literature is recommended for foreign students.
- Teaching methods
- Teaching takes place in the form of interactive presentations by students of various degrees of study focused on parasitological topics. The next part of the teaching takes place in the form of presentations by internal and external workers in the field of parasitology, students are motivated to engage in professional discussion.

- the evaluation criteria are as follows: presentation of the student's research at the seminar, participation in the seminar, student activity in the form of participation in discussions
