The exam assesses student´s ability to
understand specialized texts/discourse

formulate key ideas

talk on common topics and those related to their field of study

Syllabus
  • Written part:
  • 1) Test a) Listening b) Grammar c) Word formation c) Text analysis
  • 2) Writing an academic email and describing own experience
  • Oral part: The exam assesses student´s ability to communicate in English and to talk on specific topics related to their field of study. The exam is done in pairs. Each student is assigned a short text to read and take notes about. Subsequently, students mediate the topic of their text speaking from notes. The texts discuss specialised topics using language functions.
