Course objectives
The course is focused on reviewing concepts and solving problems in high school spatial geometry, both synthetic and analytic. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the subject and confidence in problem-solving, which is essential for their future teaching practice.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students will be able to:
– solve both standard and more complex problems in spatial geometry;
– define and explain key concepts of spatial geometry;
– highlight differences in explanations and types of problems across various high school mathematics textbooks.
Syllabus
  • Basic concepts: layer- and metric- properties of 3-D objects
  • 3-D lines and planes, positional and metric problems
