• Numerical classification - cluster analysis and TWINSPAN.
• Gradient analysis.
• Regression.
• Calibration.
• Ordination - PCA, CA, DCA.
• Constrained ordination - CCA.
• Statistical models of succession - Markov chains.
• Computer programs SYN-TAX, CANOCO, SPSS, TURBEK, TWINSPAN.
• Case studies.
