- Course objectives
- Mycology in general; this course complements the basic system (of lower plants, in 1st year) and mycological practice. Fungi on the cell level, anatomy, morphology, ecology, relations to another organisms.
- Syllabus
- Definition of fungi. Fungal cell structure. Nutrition and metabolism, containing matters. Vegetative thallus. Fungal tissues. Reprodustion structures: asexual and sexual. Fungal genetics. Fungal ecology. Saprotrophs and their substrates. Relations to other organisms, parazitism, symbiosis. Occurrence and distribution of fungi.
