Course objectives

Morphology, anatomy, biology and ecology of Phylla and other important groups. Phylogeny of invertebrates. Important animals in Czech republic and his occurence.

Syllabus

• 1. Introduction, principles of taxonomy and phylogeny, phylogeny of Eukaryotes, Kingdoms: Amoebozoa, Rhizaria, Excavata 2. Kingdoms: Chromalveolata, Opisthokonta - introduction 3. Metazoa - introduction, "Porifera", Ctenophora, Placozoa, Cnidaria, Myxozoa 4. Acoelomorpha, Ectoprocta, Entoprocta, Cycliophora, Gnathostomulida, Micrognathozoa, Syndermata 5. Gastrotricha, Platyhelminthes 6. Mollusca, Brachyozoa, Chaetognatha, 7. Nemertea, Sipuncula, Annelida 8. Nematomorpha, Nematoda, Scalidophora 9. Onychophora, Tardigrada, Arthropoda - Pycnogonida, Euchelicerata 10. Arthropoda - Myriapoda, Pancrustacea - part. 11. Arthropoda - Hexapoda I 12. Hexapoda II 13. Hexapoda III - Holometabola 14.
