Course objectives
Students get basic knowledge about relationship between chemical composition and description, properties and classification of soils and about geochemical processes in soils.
Syllabus
  • Soil as dynamic natural system, connection between biotic and non-biotic nature, effects whole geochemical circulation of substances on the Earth. Soil forming processes. Composition and features of soil. Colloids in the soil. Soil sanitation. Soil profile and classification of soils. Basis of soil mapping and soil maps.
