Abstract: The main aim of the colloquium is to broaden the knowledge of students by presenting directions, methods and results of current research in all areas of pure and applied mathematics. The lectures will be given mostly by invited speakers from abroad.

Method of verifying learning outcomes and course completion requirements (in Czech): In order to complete successfully the course, attandance of at least 50% of the lectures is required.
