Course objectives
The aim of the course is to explain to students the main principles of single crystal structural analysis, the theoretical background of diffraction on single crystal, the technical equipment used during diffraction experiments and the basic steps and methods used during processing of experimental data and solving of protein structures. The course CB070 is closely connected to exercise CB080.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course, student will be: - able to understand and explain basic principles of monocrystal x-ray crystallography - introduced to history of x-ray crystallography - introduced to x-ray crystallography instrumentation - introduced to basic methodology of x-ray crystallography - introduced to practical examples from the fiel
