Course objectives
The course provides undergraduate students with essential knowledge and skills in field and laboratory research of water and other hydrogeological samples. Graduates of the course should have a basic understanding of the parameters monitored, their physicochemical basis, and methods suitable for their monitoring. The course also includes practical instruction to familiarize students with the methods.
Learning outcomes
After the course, the student is able to:
characterize basic hydrochemical parameters of water and methods suitable for their determination;
design a sampling procedure for a given problem;
perform basic analysis on hydrogeological samples.
