- Course objectives
- The course is intended for students of the Department of Genetics and Molecular Biology (OGMB) of the Institute of Experimental Biology who have been assigned final thesis topics in individual OGMB laboratories. Students working on their final theses in external laboratories who regularly attend lab meetings may request credit after sending confirmation from their supervisor to the subject contact person. The main objective is to deepen knowledge in a narrower specialization according to the scope of research in individual laboratories, to promote presentation skills and enhance experimental design skills. The aim of the seminar is to teach the students how to present regular progress reports of their diploma theses.
- Learning outcomes
- Completion of this course (and the subsequent courses) will ensure that the student obtains theoretical knowledge for diploma thesis.

- Program of seminars is worked out individually according to the current diploma theses and according to the field of research in individual laboratories.
