Syllabus
  • Basic manipulations with light microscopes. Cell as the unit of organism: shape and structure of the animal cell, cellular organells and their function, unicellular organisms, multiplying of cells, chromosomes, mitosis and its modifications, meiosis. Animal tissues: epithelial and connective tissues, body fluids, muscles, nervous tissues, sexual cells, (the structure, function and microscopic anatomy). The animal systems of: body covering, skeleton, movement, digestion, respiration, excretion, sensitive and nervous organs, glandular organs, reproduction, (description, function, microscopic anatomy of the essential and accessory tissues. The animal reproduction and development: regeneration, reproduction in Protozoa, basic modes of asexual and sexual reproduction in multicellular Invertebrates and Chordates.
