- Course objectives
- The course gives the students an opportunity to get acquainted with a number of methods suitable for application in ecotoxicology. It includes both theoretical lectures and practical illustrations of in vivo methods (experiments with laboratory and wild animals) and in vitro methods (experiments using tissue cultures). Besides basic scientific methodology, the students will be given lectures on principles and the use of modern equipment, such as flow cytometer, confocal microscope and other methods, including molecular biology, gas and liquid chromatography, fluorimetry, spectrophotometry and luminometry.
