Syllabus
  • Man activities and biological processes in surface inland waters; global changes in landscape and rivers catchments, hydrological regime of streams - water outtake and derived water power station, ecological minimum discharge; water constructions - longitudinal and cross section regulations, weirs and dams, river discontinuum concept and hydropower peaking; restoration and revitalization of water ecosystems; water pollution - global (nonpoint) pollution (acidification, eutrophization, persistent organic and inorganic pollutants, radioactive isotopes); local and regional pollution (heat pollution, classifications of wastewater, selfpurification ability of inland water).
