Bi8055 Arachnology
Basic knowledge on arachnids. Knowledge on entomology and behavioural ecology is recommended.

Course objectives
The field course is a follow-up of the Arachnology course (Bi8055). It is, therefore, available only to students that have attanded the Arachnology course. The aim of the field course is to show students how to apply theoretical knowledge obtained from the Arachnology course in the field research.
Syllabus
  • Students will work in small groups on a specific project that will include material/data collection in the field, laboratory analysis of the data (e.g., identification of spiders), and presentation of the results.
