Course objectives
Main goal of the subject is to master drawing techniques and display of objects intended for conservation or restoration.
Syllabus
  • •1 introductory lesson, a separate drawing - round and square shape (container and box)
  • • 2 basics of pencil drawing techniques, the location of the object format, linear drawing and the basics of shading (round and square shape - exercise with a strip of paper)
  • • 3 composition, capturing the shape and proportions (bring your round, square and cylindrical object)
  • • 4 basic principles of documentation drawings (used for example in archeology) - display of vessels, the use of profiles and sections (bring a ceramic vessel)
  • • 5 smaller objects, drawing a technical nature - such as scissors, pliers, spanners (bring an appropriate subject), compared to the normal documentation and drawings
  • • 6 drawing more technical form, basic perspective (chair)
  • • 7 drawing of complex shaped plastic - or relief sculpture (bring an appropriate subject)
  • • 8 drawing the human figure - the proportion of
  • • 9 drawing the head - proportions, en face, profile, ¾ profile
  • • 10 drawing documentation in the field (architecture, sculpture)
  • • 11 basics of working with fonts and typography, different fonts and their use
  • • 12 solution of invitations, poster - image links and fonts (instructions to scan drawings, work with graphics programs, basic composition)
  • • The credit - using your own drawing of suitable subject and accompanying text (such as an invitation to the exhibition, if possible, submitted in electronic format - jpg or pdf
