- Course objectives
- Within the framework of regional geography, the students will acquire basic knowledge regarding the concepts of region, regional hierarchy and regional taxonomy. The related topics involve the history, development and current state of regional geography and its theoretical and methodological basis.

- colloquium (student has to understand at least the basic aspects of the topic and must be able to comment them in meaningful manner), the written test (at least 50% of correct answers is required) and elaboration of all homework/class exercises.
