Course objectives
The main objective of the course is to repeat basic mathematics from high school needed for courses of mathematical analysis, linear algebra and discete mathematics. Passing the seminar students will be able to *prove simple statements, compute with functions, polynomial, divisibility and make simple combinatorial considerations.
Learning outcomes
After the course a student should be able to formulate precisely and understant simple proofs. The student should master the highschool mathematics without any condition and easy computations with functions..
Syllabus
  • Types of proofs, divisibility, polynomials, quadratic equations, functions and their graphs, logaritmic and exponential functions, simple proofs from analysis and linear algebra. Some basic combinatorics techniques.
