Abstract
This course helps students build the communication skills they need in an academic and scientific environment at the B2 level. They will learn how to give well-organized presentations, take part in debates, and communicate their ideas clearly and confidently. Students will also understand the importance of audience awareness. In the course, students will develop their  argumentation skills and learn how to write different types of academic texts, including abstracts.

    Presentation skills will be developed through science-related topics, and students’ presentations will reflect their scientific interests. This course is taught by multiple instructors, so the exact topics covered may vary; however, the target skills remain identical.
    Approaches, practices, and methods used in teaching

    collaborative learning, including pair and group work;


    student presentations; debates; peer feedback;


    analysis of scientific texts;

    Method of verifying learning outcomes and course completion requirements
    Continuous coursework and active participation; timely submission of written and oral assignments. Students are expected to demonstrate effective presentation and debating skills, spoken fluency at B2 level, and the ability to produce concise academic texts. Successful completion of all compulsory tasks is required.
