Preface
First Aid e-learning written by a team of lectors of the subject First Aid of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University should serve primarily students of the Faculty of Medicine, as a source of information especially for the self-study and home preparation for the practice in the new Simulation Centre of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University.
The content of the e-learning divided into six units covering some of the main first aid topics is now open to everyone, who is interested and wants to study more. The text is updated according to the latest European Resuscitation Council guidelines published in 2021.
We hope that the e-learning will be for our readers inspiration and motivation to learn more about providing first aid not only theoretically, but also in practice.
