Dear students,

this seminar is devoted to the EU policy in the Eastern neighbourhood, in the context of the current development of the EU-Russia relations. You are supposed to prepare around 4 arguments, which support the continuation of the current EU policy towards Russia (incl. sanctions in connection with the situation in Ukraine) and 4 critical arguments, which would point out the weaknesses of this policy. Please, be prepared to explain these arguments. They will be a basis for our discussion and you will be invited to present them.
I would also like to ask you to prepare the answers for the following questions: What are your recommendations concerning the future of the EU policy towards Russia? What are your recommendations concerning the future of the EU policy towards the countries in the Eastern neighbourhood (the Eastern Partnership programme)?
