European Law Moot Court (ELMC)

Three options: ELMC, CEEMC or ČSESP moots

This course will prepare you for one of the EU law moots: ELMC (most demanding and bilingual), CEEMC (still rather demanding, but held only in English), or ČSESP (open to complete beginners and run in Czech).

First, the ELMC competition is launched and the case is published in September when you can enrol in the follow-up course (MVV24468K). Written submissions are due in November, the oral part of the competition is held in February or March.

Second, the CEEMC is launched around November/December, with written pleadings due in April and the oral part of the competition held in April or May. The follow-up course (MVV108K) then runs in the spring semester.

And third, for those who would prefer to take it easy and start with an easier moot court competition, the "ČSESP Moot Court" is always an option - it runs in Czech and also has its own course in the autumn semester (MVV56K).
