Module I: Health and Disease

Overview

This module aims to provide the students with an overview of the paradigm of thinking in clinical medicine and how epidemiology is in an excellent position to guide the medical practice through its rigorous and trustworthy methodology. In this week we will learn about the dynamic definitions of health and disease, and how to quantify the distribution of diseases and other health-related events.

Assignment

The assignment of groups no. 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 34, 35, 37, 38 and 39 will be available from Saturday (September 18th, 2021) until Sunday (September 26th, 2021).

The assignment of groups no. 33 and 36 will be available from Saturday (September 25th, 2021) until Sunday (October 3rd, 2021).

2. The assignment of this week includes 20 multiple-choice questions and you will be allowed to finish them within 30 minutes.

3. The passing score is 70% (14 correct answers).

The Repeat (R) ROPOT is only available for the students who did not pass the original ROPOT. The R ROPOT will be open until December 31st, 2021 (23:59 GMT+1).
