BASIC COURSE INFORMATION

BASIC COURSE INFORMATION:

DEADLINE: 30th JUNE 2025

To obtain credits, you need to follow all the requirements mentioned below:

  1. Read the interactive syllabus.
  2. Finish the final exam test (20 questions, min. 80% correct answers) - the test will be announced during March.
  3. Write an essay on the topic "Modern Gadgets for People with Special Needs": 
    1. => Choose a type of impairment (visual, hearing, intellectual, ADHD, and so on) 
    2. => Write about a hi-tech gadget (software, special aid, prototype) that can or will help people and improve their quality of life + add an illustrative picture + link if possible. Don't forget to use proper citation style (APA 7th or ČSN ISO 690).
    3.  => length: 2-3 A4 pages maximum
    4. When finished, upload it to the "ESSAY (till 30th June 2025) folder in the study materials.

 BLOCK LESSONS - WORKSHOP: 3D Printing and Prototyping Aids for People with Disabilities  (14.3. 2025, 10:00 - 12:00 am) 

--> optional = non-compulsory
--> For those interested --> practical workshop on how to design your own aid and how to work with 3D printing technology (you will also have the opportunity to try 3D modeling and 3D printing on your own).
