International Inclusion Poster Project

Objective: To explore and communicate the challenges and best practices related to the inclusion or wellbeing of a specific target group from a different country/perspective.

Instructions:

  1. Select a Target Group and Country: Choose a particular group from a foreign country that faces challenges related to inclusion or wellbeing. This could be women, children, marginalized communities, elderly individuals, people with disabilities, etc.

  2. Conduct Research: Investigate the challenges faced by the chosen group in your selected country. Utilize:

    • Public papers and official documents
    • Academic articles and research studies
    • News reports and credible online sources
  3. Identify Good Practices: Based on your research, pinpoint examples where the inclusion or wellbeing of the target group has been effectively addressed. This could be through policies, grassroots movements, community initiatives, or other means.

  4. Design the Poster: Create a visually engaging poster that includes:

    • A brief overview of the challenges faced by the chosen group in the selected country.
    • A concise description of the good practices you've identified.
    • Relevant images, charts, or infographics to illustrate your findings.
    • Proper citations for all your sources.
  5. Peer Review: Share your draft poster with a classmate for feedback. Look for clarity, coherence, and visual appeal.

  6. Finalize and Print: Make any necessary revisions based on feedback and prepare your poster for presentation.

Conference Presentation: Participants will showcase their posters during the conference. Prepare to elaborate on your findings and address inquiries regarding your research.

Presentation Day: Your assembled presentations will be displayed on Friday, 1st of December. Ensure you're ready to delve into your findings and share your insights.

Note: Always ensure the credibility of your sources and give proper credit to any images or data used in your poster. Aim for a balance between visual appeal and informative content.
