Instructions for the 1st exercise in biochemistry

Come to the introductory exercise (on Friday, September 22, 2023 - laboratory
229 pavilion II-1st floor, locker rooms as well) according to the breakdown
given in the schedule.
At this first practical exercise, you will first receive instructions and
requirements for the exercise, safety training and you will be informed of the
teachers' requirements for credit.
Already in this first introductory exercise, teaching will take place, i.e. you
will process practical task No. 1 related to DETERMINATION OF GLUCOSE
CONCENTRATION, pipetting, meaning of glucose determination according to the
Interactive outline - inspired scripts Bušová, Brázdová: Practical tasks from
biochemistry for pharmacy students (2011).

Familiarize yourself with all the instructions, especially with the practical
task of pipetting, determination of glucose concentration. Before each
assignment, you will write a test that you must pass at 80%, be ready for the
first exercise.

To organize practical exercises, you are divided into pairs, you choose your
colleague (in other words, form pairs according to how you are used to working
together). You create protocols directly during the exercise, each student
separately.

Bring to this exercise:
1. white lab coat, slippers
2. A4 notebook or loose sheets for notes
3. You will process the protocol in written form and hand it in at the given
exercise - everyone
4. Calculator, mobile phone
5. gloves
6. A test will be written before the next exercise
7. Own urine - for task no. 1 glucose
