Cíle předmětu
The course is designed as the final course encouraging students to write their diploma thesis that meets all formal requirements.
The aim of the course is to teach students to apply methodological procedures for the compilation of the empirical part of the diploma thesis, to teach them how to interpret the results and to complete the diploma thesis.
The main aim of the course is to complete and prepare for the defence of the diploma thesis.
Výstupy z učení
At the end of this course the student will be able to:
- select relevant methods for their research;
- select relevant information and data sources;
- generalise the findings;
- approach writing final paper the diploma thesis as scientific work;
- draft the final diploma thesis;
- edit and proofread the final diploma thesis draft;
- learn to quickly and correctly read and process information sources and abide by the rules of publishing ethics;
- evaluate empirical results and formulate recommendations that result from that investigation;
- demonstrate professional presentation skills at the defence of the thesis.

The ultimate objective is for students to be able to apply the thesis insights in practice.
Students will hone professional writing skills as part of this course.

  • The course outline:
  • - ongoing consultation of the thesis;
  • - completion of the final thesis;
  • - final editing of the text;
  • - preparation for the thesis defence.

Výukové metody
The course is organized in the form of individual consultations of the student with the supervisor of the final thesis.
Metody hodnocení
The credit for the seminar is granted by the supervisor based on the work done on the thesis during the semester. The condition for granting credit is the finalization of the thesis based on the instructions given by the supervisor.
