Cíle předmětu
Students gain hands-on experience with practical projects in cybersecurity contexts.
Výstupy z učení
At the end of the course, students will:
- deliver a functional output to support cybersecurity applications (e.g., in the areas of cybersecurity research, development, or education),
- deploy and present their output in practice,
- improve their abilities to work on projects (independently or in small teams),
- improve their presentation skills.
Osnova
  • Initial meeting with the lab members, agreement on the project topics.
  • Development of cybersecurity projects (individually or in a small team).
  • Weekly consultations and checkpoints.
  • Presentation and delivery of the results.
Výukové metody
Practical assignments and projects. Self-regulated learning.
Metody hodnocení
- Independent project work.
- Active participation during the weekly meetings (attendance, presenting own progress, providing feedback on other’s projects).
- Presenting the final project output.

Informace učitele
This is not an introductory course. We expect you have already passed at least PV080 or have similar experience (such as participating in Capture the Flag games or cybersecurity competitions). When applying for enrolment, please list cybersecurity(-related) courses you have passed or will be studying in parallel (such as PV080, PB177, PV297, PV210, or PA211).

Application without this information will be rejected. The materials and documentation for assignments and projects is primarily in English. If every student in the group speaks Czech, it is possible to conduct the weekly meetings in Czech.
