Cíle předmětu
The course is designed to provide basic knowledge in the international aspects and background in various fields of kinanthropology. At the end of this course students will be able to: - interpret the terms from the presented areas and describe the specific aspects of international connections - classify the discipline of kinanthropology within the system of other disciplines (pedagogy, psychology, sociology, ethics, philosophy, ...) - understand and apply knowledge in the international field This course also aims to foster students’ interdisciplinary thinking and intercultural awareness through active participation in international guest lectures. By the end of the course, students will: - Engage with diverse academic topics (within sports sciences) from global perspectives. - Reflect critically on lecture content across sports disciplines. - Demonstrate intercultural understanding and communication. - Synthesize insights to develop original ideas and viewpoints. - Strengthen skills in active listening, discussion, and reflection.
Výstupy z učení
The students will be able to: Translate basic terms from presented areas Recognise, identify and compare the main differences in the international context Define the benefits and problems in the present field of Czech environment Apply knowledge in the associated Czech courses Critically analyse and interpret content from international academic lectures across various sports disciplines. Demonstrate intercultural awareness in academic contexts through communication and reflection. Apply interdisciplinary thinking by linking insights from different fields to their own area of study. Participate actively in academic discussions, showing engagement, curiosity, and openness to diverse viewpoints.

The presentations are focused on international aspects of the following areas: Physiology, Kicking Games, Research Methodology and Statistics, Basic terminological issues in kinanthropology, Sports nutrition, Management in sport, Biochemistry, Sport and Society, Adapted Physical Activities, PA of Seniors, Psychomotoricity, Non-traditional games The course syllabus is alternatively based on the lectures delivered during the respective edition of the International Week (content is changing annually). Metody hodnocení
E-learning tests - the exact conditions for the current semester are described in the interactive course syllabus Alternative fulfillment of requirements based on participation in INTERNATIONAL WEEK 2025 To successfully complete the course and receive credits, students must earn a minimum of 20 points. As part of each theoretical lecture, a KvIS will be available where students can earn up to 3 points. Participation in a practical or discussion workshop is awarded with 3 points. After the International Week, it is necessary to complete a feedback questionnaire. Additionally, there will be an optional opportunity to provide feedback in person during a meeting that will take place after the event. All lectures and workshops require prior registration through the Business Centre.
Náhradní absolvování
The course can be completed through physical participation in INTERNATIONAL WEEK 2025 or through an online option, through self-study of materials in an interactive curriculum and successful completion of online tests.

https://www.fsps.muni.cz/en/international/international-week The course is intended for students of the Faculty of Sports Studies and is scheduled to take place during the week of lectures by international experts – International Week (27. - 31. 10. 2025). There are no regular classes taking place at the Faculty of Sports Studies that week. The International Week is an integral part of the academic calendar, and the participation of both students and academics of the Faculty of Sports Studies is expected.
