Course objectives
The aim of the subject, which is a part of the medical course of the Recovery Healthcare Practitioner, is to introduce participants to the basic principles of patient care.
Learning outcomes
Participant:
- to clarify the principles of patient care.

  • - care for a patient on a bed,
  • - medicine delivery,
  • - diet of the patient,
  • - environmental impact on the patient.

Teaching methods
Emphasis will be put on practicing first aid, eg using simulated situations.
Assessment methods
The course ends with a final exam consisting of a written test, oral and practical exam. After completing the course and successfully passing the final exam, the participant will receive the certificate of the Recovery Healthcare Practitioner.
