- Syllabus
- Following their specialization and with the agreement of the head of the specialization, students are assigned to sport clubs and selected fitness centers where children of various age categories (midget, major midget, juvenile and juniors) are trained. Students practice lasts 26 lessons per semester. Students run their training and exercise sessions independently (under the coach’s supervision). They use the training journal that will be available on-line. Students will learn, by means of self-study, about the basic functions of the software program Dartfish. A handbook and a video for the use of the software will be also provided via e-learning. Students will then do a specific assignment that they will complete with the help of their own recordings or recordings from the video database consisting of video shots from games, tournaments, or parts of other sport games and competitions. The video database will be created and continuously updated so that students are able to complete their assignment. Students will be granted an access to the software program Dartfish and via e-learning they will also access the video database.

- Teaching methods
- • The class is held in sport facilities, fitness centers and by means of a distant learning (e-learning). Three meetings will be held throughout the semester: before the class begins, in the mid of the semester and in the week of finals. At the first meeting students will be trained in using the Dartfish program. • Questions, comments, and findings may be consulted with the appointed coach, head of the corresponding specialization, and the guarantor of the course.
- Assessment methods
- • 90% participation in the training sessions. • Taking minutes about the attended training sessions by means of the training journal. • Creating a particular training session in a given microcycle according to specialization. • Electronic output of the analysis of a given game, competition, performance, all following the specializations based on the work with the software Dartfish. • Handing in of the corresponding documents – coach’s evaluation of the student – daily record of the attendance of training sessions – both signed by the guarantor of the corresponding specialization. All evaluation will be e-learning based, by means of feedback via discussion forums.
