- Cíle předmětu
- Euroscepticism has become pertinent and salient issue affecting not only EU politics, but also political life in EU member states. This course focuses on this phenomenon considering various dimensions of Euroscepticism. Firstly, attention is paid to its party manifestation. Secondly, presence and relevance of Euroscepticism at other levels is also covered including EU institutions, public opinion or mass media. The course combines theoretical topics with lessons devoted to the case studies.
- Výstupy z učení
- At the end of the course, the students should understand what causes presence of Euroscepticism at various levels and in various forms. They should also define and use most important concepts of Euroscepticism and use them in analysis of current development of the EU.

- The course includes lectures and seminars. Students are expected to write 5 brief position papers, deliver 1 oral presentation and participate in class discussion.

- The final written test will be composed from 4 open questions (each max. 5 points).
