Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce students of Bachelor's degree programmes to the basic terms and concepts of commercial law. The course is offered to students of all Bachelor's degree programmes taught at the Faculty of Law as part of the compulsory course for students of these programmes. Therefore, the course is designed as a cross-curricular course. Attention is given in a partial manner to basically all fundamental areas of commercial law. Nevertheless, the focus is on the areas of greatest importance to graduates of Bachelor programmes. For this reason, increased attention is paid in particular to corporate law and commercial contract law.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to have a general orientation in all areas of commercial law. The student will learn the elementary terminology of this branch of law and will be able to understand and to explain the main concepts of commercial law theory.

Teaching methods (in Czech)
Výuka bude realizována: Frontální výukovou metodou za osobní účasti studenta v budově fakulty kdy se uskuteční úvodní povinná konzultace zahrnující vymezením problematiky a systematiky, klíčových pojmů a institutů, zadání ukončení předmětu. Synchronní formou prostřednictvím tří průběžných povinných skupinových konzultací realizovaných v prostředí MS Teams, implementovány budou (vybere se dle skutečnosti) metody: skupinové a kooperativní výuky, kritického myšlení, projektové výuky, řešení problémů z praxe, brainstormingu, důraz bude kladen na poskytnutí zpětné vazby, nikoliv frontální výuku Asynchronní formou (individuálním řízeným samostudiem) z dodaných podkladů v informačním systému IS a/nebo učebnic (studijní texty, video, podcasty, prezentace s audiostopou a jiné interaktivní materiály). Vzájemný kontakt a komunikace mezi studenty bude možná na první konzultaci konané na fakultě a dále prostřednictvím předmětového týmu v aplikaci MS Teams.
Assessment methods
The course ends with an exam. The exam has two parts (test and practical question paper).
