Course objectives
The subject is designed for theoretical knowledge and its subsequent application in practice for the field of interventional radiology.
Learning outcomes
• to familiarize with the types of intervention interventions and their implementation • Get to know the suitability of performance • Learn about possible complications of intervention
Syllabus
  • Vascular procedures: 1. Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) 2. Instrumentarium for PTA 3. Stents and stenographs 4. Endoluminal treatment of aortic aneurysms 5. Neurointervence 6. Caviar filters 7. TIPS Embolization (material, indication) 9. Thrombolysis 10. Chemotherapy Nevacular interventions: 1. Biopsy with thin needle and core cut 2. Drainage of the pleural cavity, pericardium, cyst and other pathological cavities 3. Nephrostomy 4. PTC and bile duct drainage 5. Dilation of stenoses of the esophagus, intestines, urinary tract
