Course objectives
The subject is conceived as a theoretical one. It includes anesthesia, intensive care and resuscitation care for children and adults.
The goal is to prepare a medical rescuer to provide patients with essential life functions, to support and replace them with the use of anesthesia and analgesia for all ages.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
diagnostics of failure of basic life functions with the use of invasive and non-invasive monitoring;
to use their support or compensation;
basic orientation in general anesthesia techniques and techniques, local anesthesia;
identify multi-organ failure and intoxication;
keep patient documentation intensive and resuscitative.
Syllabus
  • Practical training of skills in providing anesthesia, analgesia, intensive and resuscitation care.
  • Introducing the equipment necessary for anesthetic care and nursing intensive and resuscitative care in both children and adults.
  • Practice standard situations using trainers and create a dynamic stereotype emergency situations - model situations and case studies.
  • Ensuring airway patency, assisting doctors in intubation, conitotomy, tracheostomy.
  • Respiratory care, ventilation, oxygenation
  • Assisting doctors in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in intensive and Resuscitation Care
  • Basic and Complementary Examination in Intensive and Resuscitation Care
  • Monitoring of Basic Life Functions and its Evaluation.
  • Complex Care for Patients in Intensive and Resuscitation Care
  • Document Management.
