Course objectives
At the end of this course, students should be able to: - use general methods as well as subject didactics methods in teaching biology of man chapters - transform didactic knowledge and experience into teaching - plan educational process in biology of man subject - approach creatively its illustrative realisation - learn basic essential skills for the preparation of teaching process itself.
Syllabus
  • Methodology of teaching organ systems. Preparation and realization of anthropology experiments for elementary school by students. Preparation of materials, working and methodical notes. Evaluation of experiments.

Teaching methods
In practice lectures, summary of didactic forms and methods in teaching the chapters from biology of man and examples of its application is illustratively explained. Every student prepares and then demonstrates use of their own chosen forms and methods in teaching. The same activity will be implemented in the field of using experiments, illustrative tools and models, videoprograms and didactic games. At the end of practice lectures students are being prepared and trained in the field of didactic methods used in evaluation of pupil’s knowledge – for example a test method as a diagnostic and classification method will be explained in detail.
Assessment methods
Credit: every student prepares, demonstrates and then defends in discussion: - his/her own preparation for two lessons, student draws the topics for his/her lessons from a database containing 30 topics in total - then student demonstrates two lessons he/she prepared and defends his/her own professional preparation - demonstrates his/her own chosen methods how to find out the level of pupils‘ knowledge they reached in his two teaching lessons - during the defence of a test prepared by every student, the phase of creation and implementation of the test, basic numerical characteristic of a didactic test and its every part will be discussed
