- Course objectives
- The main objectives of the course are the following:
- To define basic methodological concepts;
- To determine basic attributes of quantitative and qualitative research;
- To determine research aims, research questions, hypotheses;
- To suggest and to create research tool on the basis of problematic, which is the aim of research;
- To express results in graphic and tabular form - Syllabus
- 1. Educational methodology. Educational research. Types of research. Qualitative and quantitative methodology.
- 2. Variables, operationalization. Research aims, research questions, hypotheses. Sample size.
- 3. Techniques of quantitative and qualitative research (questionnaire, test, observation, and interview).
- 4. Experiment as a method of educational research.
- 5. Validity and reliability.
- 6. The evaluation of data into graphic and tabular form.
