- Course objectives
- Students should be able to explain basic knowledge of the Earth and universe (Planetary geography) such as the knowledge of the basic influences and laws forming a landscape sphere, which includes mainly geographical consequences of the shape, size and mass of the Earth, its movements and the consequences resulting from the position of the Earth in the universe. Student explain a interpret knowledge of the orientation on the Earth surface and measurement and determination of time; describe the role of individual elements of physically geographical sphere.

- 1. The introduction to the study of the planet of Earth
- 2. The definition of planetar geography and its place in the system of geographical sciences
- 3. The delimitation of landscape sphere in the framework of geospheres
- 4. The universe, objects and distances, basical astronomical notions
- 5. Illusive movement of objects on the celestial sphere and their alignments
- 6. Earth, its shape, size, and mass
- 7. The gravity and electromagnet field of the Eart
- 8. The bases of spatial oriantation on the Earth
- 9. Time and calendary
- 10. Basical time units and the methods of the determination of
- 11. Concequences of effects of endogenous influences on landscape sphere
- 12. Concequences of effects of exogenous influences on landscape sphere
