- Course objectives
- After completing the course, students are able to use preparatory, conditioning and compensatory exercises in warm-up and specific movement activities, apply basic gymnastic, rhythmic and dance, athletic and game activities with motivation and use physical exercises in the development of children's motor skills.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, the student understands, explains and applies in practice the basic knowledge of physical education with a focus on music and physical education, gymnastics, athletics and games. The student will be able to use the acquired knowledge and skills in the development of motor skills in preschool children.
- Syllabus
- Basic concepts associated with each type of exercise, the importance of exercises and the principles of their use. Basic concepts related to music and movement education, dance, music and rhythmic accompaniment, names of dances, basic music and movement games and activities. Gymnastics through play - methodical series, assistance and rescue for basic acrobatic elements suitable for preschool children. Basic athletic skills - runs, jumps, throws. Movement games - acquisition of basic concepts, equipment used, basic rules and organizational guidelines for the implementation of games suitable for preschool age; movement games and preparatory exercises for the development of all movement skills, games for manipulating equipment, competitive games, creative games, games for improving movement skills as part of individual thematic units, emphasizing the educational use of games (sense of fair play). Work with electronic publications. Summarising the curriculum, fulfilling credit requirements.
