Course objectives
Students of the lecture will be able to understand to the Czech history of the 19th century in broader European context, to define political system in the Czech lands and the Habsburg monarchy, to compare modernization process in individual provinces of the monarchy, and to analyse the developtment of social structure of Czech and German society.
Learning outcomes (in Czech)
Student bude po absolutoriu předmětu schopen:
- interpretovat procesy modernizace v českých zemích v kontextu evropského vývoje
- interpretovat historické souvislosti aktuální politické, hospodářské a sociální situace českých zemích
- orientace ve vědeckém diskurzu k problematice modernizace společnosti, demokratizace, nacionalismu, industrializace a souvisejících pojmů
- orientace v pramenné základně k dějinám 19. století
