Course objectives
An overview of destructive and non-destructive methods of archaeological investigation and research, their characteristics, use and advantageous application, based on the situation in the field; basic measuring operations, levelling, drawing excavated blocks and individual archaeological artefacts in plane view, etc.
Syllabus
  • Practical knowledge of measuring, mapping, drawing, use of databases, post-excavation processes, basic rules of conservation and packing.
