Course objectives
The aim of the course is to deepen the knowledge of Italian and to develop the vocabulary and communicative competence (level A2/B1 CEFR).
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to:
- understand explained vocabulary,
- use the vocabulary in spoken and written language,
- explain and apply grammar discussed in seminars,
- understand more difficult texts and to translate them into czech and vice versa.

  • 1. Přivlastňovací zájmena.
  • 2. Objednání jídla v restauraci.
  • 3. Italská kuchyně: vaření a jídelní chody.
  • 4. Indikativ imperfekta a trapassato prossimo a jejich užití.
  • 5. Popisování a vyprávění v minulosti.
  • 6. Vyjádření souhlasu a nesouhlasu.
  • 7. Italský film.
  • 8. Zájmena se čtvrtým pádem.
  • 9. Nakupování.
  • 10. Nabídnutí a odmítnutí pomoci; vyjádření smutku a radosti.

Teaching methods
Lectures and excercises.
The course involves regular grammatical, lexical and phraseological excercises, listening and speaking excercises.
Assessment methods
The student has to deliver 3 essays in Italian and 3 traductions during the semester.
Attendance and participation in the course is required.
Credit - written test.
