Abstract
The aim of the course is to deepen the knowledge of Italian and to develop the vocabulary and communicative competence (level A2/B1 CEFR).
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to:
- understand explained vocabulary,
- use the vocabulary in spoken and written language,
- explain and apply grammar discussed in seminars,
- understand more difficult texts and to translate them into czech and vice versa.

  • 8. Pronouns with the fourth case.

  • 10. Offering and refusing assistance; expression of sadness and joy.

Approaches, practices, and methods used in teaching
Lectures and excercises.
The course involves regular grammatical, lexical and phraseological excercises, listening and speaking excercises.
Method of verifying learning outcomes and course completion requirements
The student has to deliver 3 essays in Italian and 3 traductions during the semester.
Attendance and participation in the course is required.
Credit - written test.

Tutte le volte che potete, scrivete in italiano. È un esercizio utile per voi, non lo farete per me: capisco bene il ceco e la mia lingua identitaria è il friulano. Se non avete il tempo di cercare le parole o non siete sicuri di spiegare bene, scrivete pure in ceco. La cosa più importante è comunicare. Non correggerò i vostri testi e non li userò per valutare il vostro lavoro. La mia pigrizia non è l'unico motivo: non dovete avere paura di scrivere in italiano, meglio scrivere in italiano con qualche errore che perdere un'occasione di esercizio. Scrivere, anche senza la correzione, è comunque un esercizio. G.C.
