- Course objectives
- Basic theoretical introduction to Serbian morphology, searching for similarities and differences in relation to Czech, learning Serbian language terminology of the area. At the end of the course students will
- be able to demonstrate the knowledge of Serbian morphology.
- have a broader and more solid understanding of key aspects of linguistics.
- have a broader and more solid understanding of key aspects of comparative study of Slavonic languages
- be familiar with Serbian grammar - contrast and compare Czech and Serbian language - Syllabus
- Basic terminology (morphology, morpheme, morph, alomorf, ending, suffixes, prefix, affix, extension, connector, derivation, composition, motivation, motivation and motivated word, etc.); word types - comparing the characteristics of Serbian and Czech word types, comparing Serbian and Czech word-formation.
