Course objectives
Main objectives of the course can be summarized as follows: to deepen the knowledge of the Spanish grammar with the emphasis on the syntax; to be able to write a short essay or speak about an issue concerning Spanish history, geography and culture.

  • 1. Introduction, recapitulation of lessons 24-33.
  • 2. L34 subjunctive of past imperfect tense, sequence of tenses in subjunctive mode
  • 3. L35 subjunctive mode with prepositions
  • 4. L36 subjunctive of past pluperfect
  • 5. L37 subjunctive in temporal clauses
  • 6. L38 subjunctive in relative clauses
  • 7. recapitulation and exercises
  • 8. L39 composed subjunctive, conditional clauses
  • 9. L40 concessive clauses
  • 10. L41 hyperbolisms and diminutives, ser and estar (recap)

Teaching methods
During the classes will take place theoretical lectures and exercises of the discussed issues, it is also assumed that the students will do some preparation at home.

Written test and oral discussion to prove the ability of speaking.
