Course objectives
The main goal of this course is to obtain an complet overview of the process of creating academic text and learn how to create academic text.
Syllabus
  • Why start writing, the reasons and motivation What to write - the structure of scientific text Where and how to publish an professional text - archive of theses, professional journals, review procedure The writing process - phases of creating the text, choosing the topic Content x form of scientific text Search in various sources of informations, the use of literature Reduce text - creation, types, use Citations Plagiarism and ethic aspects of scientific paper Basic grammar - the most frequent grammar mistakes Critical thinking - introduction Critical reading - methods Critical writing - methods
