- Cíle předmětu
- This year's course will follow a comparative approach to aspects of twentieth and twenty-first poetry. The aim of the course will be to consider and compare how individual poets shape their use of langauage in a variety of contexts, social, geographical and political.

- Participants who have completed the course will have gained an understanding of the work of writers from the perspective of a variety of considerations, including formal, historical socio-cultural, regional and aesthetic factors.

- Teaching by close reading, group work and class discussion in the form of eleven ninety minute seminars.
- Metody hodnocení
- Assessment for the course will take the form of an essay of 7-10 pages(60%), plus oral participation and attendance (40%). Essays should be submitted to me by e-mail attachment.
